VW parts expert Jack Finn is putting Jack Kevorkian's infamous "death bus" on the auction block. Kevorkian allegedly used the bus for assisting terminal patients in committing suicide. Finn, who sold VW parts to Kevorkian over several years, purchased the notorious Volkswagen van in 1997 prior to Kevorkian's incarceration. Finn has been storing the 1968 Volkswagen Bus/Vanagon unused in a warehouse in what he describes as basically the same condition as when it was used by Kevorkian.

Best Ebay Auction Ever? 1994 PEUGEOT 306. Buy it or it gets abandoned

Posted in eBay by: TimothyT on: 04/18/2010 10:27 AM [ Print | 0 comment(s) ]

Another “soon to be classic” Ebay auction for you to enjoy. Aside from the horrible spelling and grammar that I am guilty of myself, this one is pretty funny. This should just be another typical high mileage 1994 PEUGEOT auction where someone is dumping it for a few hundred bucks instead of scrapping it. Instead, we get a long description of what a turd this car is with the threat that he will leave it in the park if it does not sell with the doors unlocked and a half a tank of gas. So please, save the environment and bid on this clunker and scrap it. Read on for the details, photos and link to the original auction. You have 9 days from this news post to win!

Well you can as these trailers while sporting the BrawnGP livery where sold to the now defunct USAF1 team which failed to qualify for the 2010 Formula 1 season. Many of the goods and hardware they had where seized by the courts to help pay off creditors, current bid is just shy of £17k. Do note you will have to remove the BrawnGP and Jenson Buttons name from the trailer as those logos are copyrighted.

1987 Batmobile Honda Civic on Ebay, or as the owner says "BATMOBIZEY FO SHIZY" (Update 1)

Posted in eBay by: TimothyT on: 04/07/2010 06:57 AM [ Print | 0 comment(s) ]

This auction for a 1987 Batmobile Honda Civic ended with a top bid of $305.00 and an asking price of $5,200.00. Insert LOL here. The car has been relisted with the ultimate in marketing ideas. Make the starting bid almost 10 times the last close at $2,999.99 and the same buy it now price. Remove all the fun text including "BATMOBIZEY FO SHIZY" and replace it with "1987 Honda Civic DX HB". Good luck! We added a couple of photos and a new link to the auction as well...

Update: Possibly the best Ebay auction ever ad pulled. Screenshots of the auction added.

Posted in eBay by: TimothyT on: 03/28/2010 07:32 PM [ Print | 0 comment(s) ]

Update: This ad has now been pulled, but we added screenshots of the auction for your viewing pleasure. Apparently this was a serious listing, but the description of who might buy this car is hilarious. Great selling points like “Attention Teenage Drug Dealers/Low Life & Oxygen Thieves”, “Dig out yer favourite unwashed "Umbro" hoodie and come cast your shifty little eyes on this”, “For any female buyer I'm offering a free Tatoo of something utterly meaninless to go in the middle of your lower back”. That is just the icing on the cake, it literally has 7 or 8 paragraphs of non-stop fun.

Bored? Let's go Ebay shopping

Posted in eBay by: Timothy Tibbetts on: 01/10/2010 09:24 AM [ Print | 0 comment(s) ]

Not much going on, so as I sit here with very cold toes surfing the internet, I thought I would see what was going on at Ebay motors and eventually decided to see who had the most expensive car for sale. Luckily for us, it is a 2008 Lamborghini Murcielago Reventon #3 of 20 worldwide. That's right, for only $1,495,000.00, you can own this now 2 year old Lamborghini. Very few cars exist in the world today that require you don't just win the lottery, but win at least 3 million (after taxes) just to afford this beauty. Of course, you still have to pay taxes on the car, so you would need to count on another $120,000 or so just for that. I assume there must be a tire disposal fee too? :) Continue on for more pictures, specs and to just drool and dream.

Knight Rider Replica, 1987 Pontiac Trans Am on Ebay

Posted in eBay by: Timothy Tibbetts on: 01/05/2010 11:53 AM [ Print | 0 comment(s) ]

This one smells fishy to me. Many photos were taken with the car wet, the attempts to distract you with an decent looking chick, horribly cruddy looking engine compartment, listed at 3k miles when it was reported as having 93k in 2001, signed by George Barris and Norm Grabowski and all that before we get to the lien, front crash in 2008 and the corrected title. But, you decide, read on for the awesome auction description of this car. Oh, bidding starts at 32,500. Happy bidding sucker(s).

Ebay: 1986 Pulse Litestar Jet Car Ultra Rare Street Legal Fun

Posted in eBay by: Timothy Tibbetts on: 12/24/2009 07:56 AM [ Print | 0 comment(s) ]

These incredible machines were designed by the famous private jet manufacturer Bede and built between 1985 and 1990. Around 347 vehicles were made, the first 21 to be produced were called Litestars, later the name was changed to Pulse.
The Pulse uses two main wheels positioned at the front and rear of the vehicle, as well as two smaller outrigger wheels housed in the small winglets either side of the cockpit. Due to the positioning of the stabilizing side wheels only 3 wheels are in contact with the ground at any one time.

The chassis of the Litestar Pulse consists of welded steel tubing covered by a fibreglass shell. Inside the tandem-seat cockpit of the Pulse were an AM-FM radio cassette, lights, Full instruments, seat belts, and custom upholstery. This Pulse also has a front air suspension and running lights, including neon under the body.

The Pulse we are offering is #241. It utilizes the very powerful Honda V-65 1100cc 110 h.p. motor. It is water cooled and caplable of speeds up to 80+ m.p.h. Condition is beautiful, and the Pulse runs and rides as it should. Licenced as a motorcycle and Very easy to maneuver, they get more attention than anything you have ever seen! These are very rare and most are in the hands of collectors. Have a huge following with much support.

Ebay: 1982 Honda Magna Turbine Mototcycle

Posted in eBay by: Timothy Tibbetts on: 11/06/2009 07:17 AM [ Print | 0 comment(s) ]

A chance to own a reasonably priced Turbine motorcycle. Looks pretty ugly and you can see the frame may have been cut away to fit this turbine in. I would be concerned about structural integrity myself. Rest of the bike seems to have been modified in your neighbors garage including what look like uncomfortable foot pegs, for example. Turbine does not power the wheels, so expect this to ride like a 2 wheeled, 27 year old motorcycle... that can't fly and does not have wings. Either way, you can be the coolest redneck on your block, although you can find a nice single wide for the same price.
