A DUI checkpoint for the ages. Police say it started off normally enough then turned just plain bizarre.

Lodi Police saw everything from underwear to a pursuit to a driver four times the legal limit. This average checkpoint was anything but.

"It was an unusual checkpoint for us to say the least," said Sgt. Chris Jacobson Lodi Police Department.

There were 10 arrests at the checkpoint Saturday -- but not all for dui. "Three individuals -- unrelated -- come through the checkpoint wearing only shirts and underwear," said Sgt. Jacobson. Even stranger, they were licensed and sober, but that was just the beginning. Another person got aggressive with a cop during a license check. "He punched the officer in the stomach through the window," said Sgt. Jacobson. And another driver decided he would avoid the officers altogether. "He accelerated out of the checkpoint nearly hitting all the officers, ran stop signs and a pursuit unfolded," said Sgt. Jacobson.
