2011 Dodge Durango to Lead Rock 'n' Roll Marathon Caravan
We posted some photos of the all-new 2011 Dodge Durango today, but if you’re in the right spot at the right time, you can see one blowing through town over the next few days.
You see we’re headed to the first of four Dodge-sponsored Rock ‘n’ Roll Marathons. The race is Sunday morning in Virginia Beach, VA and the 2011 Dodge Durango will be the pace car.
So our whole team of runners, communications and marketing folks are piling in Durangos and other vehicles in a big caravan, leaving today from Chrysler World Headquarters in Auburn Hills, MI. We’ll pass through Toledo, Cleveland, and Youngstown, on the Ohio Turnpike, then pass by Pittsburgh, PA, make a stop at a dealership in Fredericksburg, VA on Friday, and end up in Virginia Beach later that day.
Throughout the trip and during and after the race, videographer Paul Cirenese and I will be posting updates, pix, videos and interviews from our uConnect-equipped Dodge Grand Caravan, here and at http://www.twitter.com/chrysler.
But first things first…here’s a video profiling some of the members of our marathon team who will actually be running a half-marathon. Our team members include everyone from engineers, customer service personnel, health activity center manager, to marketing, design, and Dodge Brand CEO Ralph Gilles.
