Championship leader Colin Turkington says he’ll not be distraught if he fails to bag a race win at Knockhill this weekend.
Northern Irishman Turkington’s lead was cut from 25 points to 17 by new second placed man Fabrizio Giovanardi at Snetterton.
Now the Team RAC BMW star faces a track he’s never won at but says he’s still relaxed about his chances.
With six wins to his name so far in 2009, he told btcc.net: “I’m certainly not feeling under pressure that I have to win at Knockhill. Obviously it would be great timing if I could get what would be my first win there this weekend but I won’t be distraught if I leave on Sunday night not having won.
