Starting at Mr Bugler’s home in The Friary, the procession went around the ring road and on to Salisbury crematorium where scores more mourners were waiting to pay their last respects.

The coffin was carried in a sidecar and Mr Bugler’s wife Myra travelled on his Harley Davidson, with a police escort accompanying the bikers.

Mr Bugler, 60, died at Salisbury Hospice on January 19.

He had been diagnosed with cancer in 2008.
