Bad Cop: Police officer charged with burglarizing home
41-year-old Brent Dupras is accused of breaking into his girlfriend's home while she slept - and it's not the first time he's been in trouble with the law.

Investigators say Dupras went to the home to try to talk to his former girlfriend Laurie Barrett. She turned him away, but he didn't stay gone for long - allegedly breaking in through a window air conditioning unit. In a statement to police obtained by FOX23 News, Barrett says, “I was sleeping in bed and all of a sudden my bedroom light turned on and Brent was standing at the end of my bed. He immediately walked over to where I keep my cell phone and grabbed it to start looking through it.” |
