Talk about a bad hair day. First 72-year-old Sandra Powell was late for her appointment with the hairdresser. And then police snapped her mug shot before she could get her new 'do.

Police caught Powell careening across a highway at speeds in excess of 100 mph, nearly hitting another vehicle and speeding into the median to pass another car in the inside lane. When a cop caught up to Powell's vehicle at an intersection the officer asked Powell if she was OK. She said she was, but that she "was upset because she was late for a hair appointment," according to a police report . When the officer asked if she knew how fast she was going (in a 45 mph zone), Powell "stated yes, that she was going 100 MPH," the report said. "I'm on my way to get my hair cut. And I went in the wrong direction," police footage shows Powell telling the officer. "Now I'm running late because I'm supposed to be there at 10."
