Bianchi signs long-term Ferrari deal
Frenchman Jules Bianchi has signed a long-term deal with Ferrari following his two-day test with the former champion in Jerez last week. The 20-year-old dominated the Formula 3 Euroseries this year and will step up to GP2 in 2010, now with the support of Ferrari.
Although no details of Bianchi's contract were released, it's believed the deal is for three years, with an option for another two. Bianchi is also likely to have his bills for GP2 paid by Ferrari, while receiving $500,000 in pay.
Bianchi will drive with the championship-winning ART team in GP2 next year, the team that guided Williams-bound Nico Hülkenberg to a comfortable rookie title earlier this year.
