Quote from the article:
| The male victims, members of the Flaming Knights motorcycle club, were attacked outside Mr. D's Sportsbar and Grill at 1810 S. Rainbow Blvd., at Oakey Boulevard, according to police. The owner told detectives that the bar was a popular hangout for the Bandidos Outlaw and the Down and Dirty Outlaw motorcycle gangs, according to the arrest reports. The Down and Dirty gang is a support group of the larger, more well-established Bandidos, detectives said in the reports. In the early morning hours of June 7, 2009, many members of the two gangs were in the bar. When the victims pulled into the parking lot on motorcycles, they were quickly surrounded and beaten, and their club patches were taken from their jackets, according to witnesses and surveillance footage. Racial epithets were shouted. One victim was hospitalized with multiple stab wounds and bruises. |
