Bobby Bonds Interview: Set to Return

Former Champion talks about his Supercross injury and the remainder of the season.

A former rising star in the amateur motocross ranks, and the victim of one of the worst crashes in Supercross history, Bobby Bonds once swore he would never race Supercross again. But to everyone's surprise, the 2008 WORCS Champion decided to get back in the stadium this year along with forging ahead in his off-road career.

Quote from the article:

Unfortunately a collarbone injury bit him at Anaheim III and has kept him sidelined for several weeks.

His bid for the World Off Road Championship Series is off to a rocky start, but in an effort to remind everyone that he's still here and he's still fast, "Bondo" lined up for the Pro main event at round four in Adelanto, California. It was there, at the Racetown 395 venue, that Bonds was off to a good start and actually led the opening laps of the two-hour race. It didn't amount to the finish he wanted as Bonds admittedly has more healing to do, but he's ramping up for a return to the WORCS series.
