Bunny, bikers bring Easter joy to local church food pantry

Easter bunnies are not an uncommon sight this time of year. They peek from yard signs and storefronts and holiday displays.

Quote from the article:

But the one spotted in Ironton Saturday afternoon was definitely not your run-of-the-mill cottontail. It was straddling a Harley.

The Bunny, along with members of two motorcycle clubs, The Outlaws and Brothers of the Wheel, brought Easter baskets to the First United Methodist Church Food Pantry. The visit was also sponsored by Boomer’s restaurant and American Bikers Aimed Toward Education (ABATE).

Those who want to donate may call the church at 532-1196. The food pantry is open 9 a.m.-noon Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays. The church is located at 101 N. Fifth St.
