The suspect wanted for a local carjacking killed himself early this morning during a high-speed police chase after he is suspected of committing three robberies in Amarillo, police said.

Johnson is suspected of a robbery and an attempted carjackings in Amarillo overnight. He was wanted by Lubbock police for an armed carjacking on March 21 in Lubbock.
