Chevrolet Dealer: Want a Volt? That'll be an Extra $20K
You got me on this one. Just go buy a Prius and save money. Does anything say douchebag bigger than buying a car that saves money on fuel only to overpay by 20k? Well, since this is out of California, it makes a bit more sense to see Hollywood types trying to look green by throwing money at an electric car to park in one of their 6,000 square foot homes while they fly around the world. Most importantly, I fail to see the cool factor of overpaying for a car that Chevrolet just announced they were increasing production capacity by 50 percent. That said, hopefully this dealer sent this out before that announcement. Business as usual.
