Damon Hill not a fan of the new redesign of the Silverstone Circuit
Damon Hill, the president of Silverstone's owners, has derided the circuit's £5million redesign as a 'frustrating compromise' that risks 'destroying the essence of what brought fans to Formula One in the first place'. The 1996 world champion's criticism came hours after Silverstone yesterday revealed that their new-look 'Arena' track will host the British Grand Prix on July 11.
For me I like the look of the new layout but would really only judge if its a good re-design once I see F1 cars race around it in anger.
