Former Indy 500 winner and CART champ Gil de Ferran will start on the pole in his Acura ARX-02a at the Mid-Ohio Sports Car Course. He was the top qualifier for the 2nd year in a row. The car will be co-driven by Simon Pagenaud of France. This is Gil's fourth pole at Mid-Ohio.
