The ground opened up early this morning in Tampa. A large sinkhole swallowed a car at the Bordeaux Village condominiums near USF.
Nearly a dozen families were evacuated from the building and were told that they can't return to their residences until the sinkhole stabilizes. Right now, the Red Cross is helping four of those families with emergency assistance.

"Typically, the condo association itself has coverage on the exterior of the structure, the interior, for instance, the contents inside the walls like the sofa and TVs. They would have an individual policy that will cover that," said John Byrne, an attorney that specializes in sinkhole cases.
Officials are testing the building for stress fractures.
