Frank Sinatras 58 Caddy for Sale

Frank Sinatra’s swingin’ 1958 Cadillac Eldorado Brougham is part of the auction action at Bonhams & Butterfields Classic California sale at the Petersen Automotive Museum in Los Angeles on Nov. 14. Estimated at $100,000 – $125,000, the Rat Pack king’s Caddy is a coachbuilt luxury car – one of the last to come out of Detroit, only 700 were ever produced – hand finished to the highest standards and outfitted with every luxury of the day. That includes a custom set of shot glasses and a cigarette box built into the glove box, along with a lady’s vanity case so your arm candy can touch up en route.
The Caddy is finished in Cordovan Red with an interior upholstered and trimmed in grey cloth and white leather. Silver finished cast aluminum Sabre wheels with wide whitewall tires complement the brushed stainless steel roof and elaborate Eldorado rocker panel and fender molding trim. Also included in the sale are a vintage 1940 Indian motorcycle ($55,000 – $65,000) and 1949 Chevy pickup truck ($20,000 – $30,000) both owned and well-used by the great Steve McQueen, as well as the very first 2001 Ford Mustang Bullitt edition, presented to the actor’s son Chad ($60,000 – $80,000).
