Funny Car champ Hight featured at Auto Show
On Dec. 5 at the Auto Club Exhibit in the Los Angeles Convention Center’s Kentia Hall, 2009 NHRA Funny Car World Champion Robert Hight along with teammates 14-time NHRA Funny Car World Champion John Force, Ashley Force Hood and Mike Neff signed autographs. The NHRA Funny Car foursome were the guests of the Automobile Club of Southern California. Robert Hight’s Ford Mustang is sponsored by the Automobile Club of Southern California and all John Force Racing teams carry the Auto Club logos.
“It is always an honor to represent the Automobile Club of Southern California and to represent them at the LA Auto Show was really special. We are based out of Southern California so we got to see tons of fans at the LA Auto Show. Coming on the heels of winning my first world championship and the 16th in twenty years for John Force Racing I expect all the drivers to have pretty tired hands after signing for the fans. It is totally worth it to make them happy and to spend some time with our biggest supporters,” said Hight.
“I did take some time to look at all the new cars especially the new Ford models that were on display. Ford had a great area and it was packed.”
Hight’s winning Ford Mustang has been on display in the Automobile Club of Southern California’s booth since the start of the LA Auto Show.
