Gemballa announces Mirage GT Matte Edition
How many versions of an already limited-run car is it possible to build? Gemballa, it seems, can produce plenty of variants of the Porsche Carrera GT. There was the Carbon Edition, Gold Edition and now the Matte Edition. Along with cosmetic updates, all models offer more performance than the standard Carrera GT.
The Matte Edition features either matt black paint - with silver or red accents - or a gunmetal grey and yellow colour scheme. The contrasting colour is applied to the headlamp surrounds, brake callipers and engine air intakes. The interior also gets a touch of colour, on the gear lever gaiter and instrument dials. The black and silver car also gets a liberal coating of blue Alcantara on the seats, steering wheel and dashboard.
Performance is identical to other Mirage variants, which means a claimed 0-62mph time of 3.7 seconds (0.2 seconds faster than the standard car) and top speed of 208mph. Power from the V10 engine is 661bhp rather than the standard 605bhp.
When it comes to price the Mirage GT Matte Edition will cost around £182,000 and you also need to buy a Carrera GT if you don't already have one...
