General Motors falls out of top 10 of Fortune 500 for the first time in 101 years
Fortune Magazine released its annual Fortune 500 list of top-grossing companies in the U.S., and Wal-Mart reigns supreme after coming in second place last year. But, there's one notable drop for one local company. General Motors drops from No. 6 to No. 15. As Fortune points out, it's the first time in the automaker's 101-year history it wasn't in the top 10!
