Yet again can the world add a new record time in the books of who cares as the Gumpert Apollo Sport is now the world’s fastest production car around the famous green hell, or Nürburgring as it’s called in colloquial toungue.
The German car manufacturer, founded by former Audi sports director Roland Gumpert, shot to fame by climbing to the top of Top Gear’s list of power laps, beating out favourites like the Ascari A10, Koenigsegg CCX and Pagani Zonda F.
