Guy Ritchie wrecks four cars trying to set fastest lap on Top Gear
The Lock Stock film director was taking part in the regular Star In A Reasonably Priced Car challenge.
But Ritchie, 41, struggled with a wet track and after a series of spins and scrapes at Dunsfold Park track, Surrey, he had to use a fifth car.
An audience member at the show's recording said: "Guy chose a really tough day to try to set a fast lap.
"He told the show's presenters it was a wet track and he had ended up breaking four cars over the course of the day, including destroying one of the gearboxes.
"It sounded like he had a few problems finding top gear, so I don't think his time will be the fastest."
Fans will be able to see Guy's fastest lap and his time at 8.30pm on BBC2 tomorrow.
The episode also features a hatchback being fired at a ferry and airport vehicles being raced around a track.
