Harley-Davidson idles Pa., KC plants due to paint
Harley-Davidson says it has idled motorcycle plants in central Pennsylvania and Kansas City due to health concerns over a paint chemical.
Spokesman Michael DiMauro says the Milwaukee-based company was alerted by a supplier that its paint for coating motorcycle parts could expose workers to benzene.
They expect to reopen Monday.
