Hells Angels raided, 7 arrested
Members and associates of Ontario Hells Angels had their wings clipped this morning in Hamilton, Nanticoke and Waterloo.
Police arrested seven men with ties to the biker gang in five raids, including a home and three buildings, including the Hamilton club house on Lottridge St.
The properties, vehicles and motorcycles worth $875,000 were seized by police.
Investigators also seized about $215,000 worth of drugs and undisclosed weapons, police said.
Police did not provide details of the alleged crimes committed by the suspects in the the year-long Project Manchester.
Charged with numerous criminal code and drug-related charges are Andre Watteel, 56, of Cambridge, John Cane, 44, Joseph Cafagna, 35, of Hamilton, David Behrens, 40, Luis Barberiz, 41, David LaChapelle, 45, all of Hamilton, and Brandon Goodfellow, 26, of Nanticoke.
