| The event was sponsored by members of the Veterans of Vietnam Motorcycle Club and the American Legion Riders. Organizers say more people registered by noon than the total in attendance at last year's event when they raised $6,000. "We have been very blessed this year with donations of food, money and items for the auction," said Cyndi Durr, who helped plan the fundraiser. "We did good last year, and we expect to do better today. Every year we hope to raise more. The people have been very generous, and all the profits go to Woody's Home." |
