Well, I was just going to ignore this story because odds are this is just a Firebird or TransAm modification kit being designed by a third party for the Camaro. After all, no official word or even a rumor of any such project is known to be coming from GM. Even if it was official, they would mass produce it and be forced to move the TransAm or Firebird name to Chevy meaning it would never be an original Pontiac TransAm or Firebird. If it is a third party modification, it just seems like it would ruin a Camaro. Rarely will you find a rebadged car that is desirable or collectible and a modification like this would cost a fortune just in the body work. That said, here are the photos that show an obviously intentionally parked and partially uncovered whatever it is.
