Infiniti UK launch starts in Reading
Infiniti, Nissan’s upmarket brand, has announced that its first UK dealership is to open in Reading this weekend.
The first of nine showrooms to open in the next two years, the Reading Infiniti Centre will showcase the marque’s new approach to shifting metal, er, sorry, we mean helping customers embrace a holistic luxury experience.
Yes, these won’t just be just ordinary showrooms, these will be palaces of luxury goods, styled in the manner of boutique hotels with a lobby/lounge/gallery layout. There’s specially commissioned art on the walls, and sofas and lounge chairs designed by Walter Knoll.
And gone are the days of dodgy car dealers in sheepskin coats: Infiniti will have Customer Account Managers, who will guide buyers through the ‘ownership experience’.
The cars? Oh, yes, there’ll be some of those too. The model range for the UK launch consists of G37, G37 Coupe, G37 Convertible, plus EX and FX crossover SUVs.
