Is Mitsubishi's electric car going to be bought?
Well for one I would say a categoric no, unless you have very deep pockets and don't mind the smaller than small supermini size, may just fit two average adults a small child and a bag of groceries, and all for.... wait for it £33,699 (in USD $50,676). It may do the city goer who has alot of cash to spare (even with the government rebate of £5000 its expensive) but why, when you can get a small and nippy car like the new Citroen DS3 for instance, most pure electic cars not the hybrids do suffer from poor battery life and a long charge time, which as far as I can find has not been stipulated by Mitsubishi for this one. If it was around £15K per car then I could see this doing well, but think the company are over optimistic on how many they will sell, especially at that price.
