Jake Wand takes the Ducati Desmosedici from the new movie 'The Expendables' out for a road test.

From the movie "The Expendables" starring Jason Statham, Jet Li and Slyvester Stallone the new Ducati Desmosedici 16 RR now goes for a test ride with pro rider Jake Wand.

Pro rider Jake Wand will be doing a series of track days (by invitation only) to help experienced riders become more comfortable with their motocycles. Just so happens that one of the first track days will take place sometime in May and will feature the new Ducati Desmosedici 16RR that was used in the new movie "The Expendables" starring Jason Statham and Slyvester Stallone.

"This Ducati is one of the most amazing bikes on the planet and the fact that it was used in the new movie "The Expendables" makes it even that more unique. There are only a handful of Ducati Desmosedici in the US" said Jake when asked about the bike. He would not disclose about how he came into possession of the bike. But we hear that it was actually owned by one of the stars in the movie (Jason Statham).

Upon viewing the bike you can see that it is much different than just your average Ducati on the street. It also bears the movie logo on both sides of the bike. It truly is a site to see.

While the track day is by invitation only we are told that the bike may be on display in other areas as well. You can check periodically check for locations near you where the bike will be displayed.

Jake Wand began his pro career at a very early age and has been in the extreme sports circle for almost a decade now. He is also very active in the music and music publishing business as well. But motorcycles seem to be his true passion.

He often has track days to help both inexperienced riders and experienced riders become more confident on the street and the track. The Ducati is an example of how motorcycles have become super bikes for the street. Most street bikes put out well over 100 horse power and bikes like the Ducati Desmosedici is basically a GP bike that is street legal with 200 (plus) horse power. In layman terms it means that it is even more important for riders to become more familiar with their motorcycles in a closed course safe environment like a track day. When you have a bike that goes in excess of 150 mph it helps to take certain measures to keep yourself as well as others safe. Jake has taken his expertise and knowledge to the track many times and now helps others learn the basics as well as help the experience rider have more control and confident.

Jake Wand embezzeled money from our company and myself personally. Jake Wand was introduced to me by a "mutual" friend (who i learned later had not known Jake for more than a week). Against my better judgment i invited Jake into our project hoping he could deliver what he promised - to successfully pitch our company to industry insiders that he said he had done business with on numerous occasions. The truth is that Jake doesnt really "know" anyone except those that jake has already scammed. Everyone needs to finally admit that no-one really knows who this guy named Jake Wand is... An investigator we retained learned that he has no formal education, has never filed taxes or recieved legitimate w-2 income, has scammed his way into owning several small businesses (and then destroyed each after milking every dime), and has had at least 10 addresses over just the past few years (a usual sign of a con artist). He wiggled his way into our lives and then cleaned us out. We have reported Jake to the authorities who have told us an investigation was actually already underway. I am writing this in order to stop this guy from continuing his determined scamming of family after family. If you have information on his current "operations" you should notify the Tennessee Bureau of Investigation. You'll be glad you did!
