Jenson Button and Lewis Hamilton told by McLaren to fight it out for F1 crown

Jenson Button and Lewis Hamilton have been given the go-ahead for an all-out war for next year's Formula One world title.
Boss Martin Whitmarsh said he is only asking one thing of Vodafone McLaren's two world champions - respect for each other.
Despite Hamilton spending more than a decade under the wing of a team which has £5million invested in his career - and where he won the world title - Whitmarsh has said McLaren will not favour one driver over the other.
And that offers the mouth-watering prospect of two top drivers unleashed in the same team with the same equipment, facing the reality that the only thing making the difference is their talent.
It heralds a return to the most exciting days in the sport's history when Ayrton Senna and Alain Prost went head-to-head in 1988 and 1989. Ironically, those two are the respective heroes of the current duo.
