A 49-year-old woman has been jailed in Pasco County, accused of stealing a car on her first day out of prison. Theresa Jones faces charges of grand theft of a motor vehicle, cocaine possession and two counts of possession of drug paraphernalia. She was being held on $7,300 bond.

Authorities say she met a pen pal and they drove to a New Port Richey hotel. Jones took the man's car Wednesday night, saying she was going to buy beer. She was located Thursday morning.
