Last in Line : HUMMER rolls out its last Production
All good things come to an end, and when General Motors failed to reach an agreement with a Chinese heavy machine company to sell off the brand, the fate of the HUMMER was sealed.
In July GM will cut 200 of 900 jobs at the Shreveport, Louisiana plant as part of the winding down.
The last production is part of a special order placed by AVIS rental car, while earlier this month HUMMER was nagged with a recall pertaining to the H3's hood louver clips. Over time they can break and possibly detach the louver from the vehicle.

Most of the current stock of HUMMER models were put on special sales with the "last chance to buy a HUMMER" slogan, offering large discounts, or 0% financing.
