| Drivers called 9-1-1 and reported at least one of the riders hitting speeds of 100 miles an hour and weaving in and out of traffic. One of those riders was eventually arrested and said he was aware a state patrol aircraft was following him, but kept going anyway. State troopers are bracing for more incidents involving riders on high-powered motorcycles. “With the warm weather coming, we will see this a lot. Daily,” Christina Martin with the WSP told KATU News. “We see packs of motorcyclists. They're in these racing clubs or groups and they come up and down the freeway, doing stunts, endangering themselves and others." |
