Naked Man on Billboard in Fort Worth
The 24-year-old man, identified by his sister as being James Apple, is complaining that his family is dead, is begging for help and is reportedly threatening to jump.

| Trained negotiators are using a megaphone and trying to coax him down. Officials had previously allowed family members, including his girlfriend and brother-in-law, to speak to him from afar. However, Williams said, family is now being kept away. During the ordeal, Apple could be heard singing and screaming, "Where's my family?" At one point, he leaned over the side of the billboard and vomited. Williams said she can’t explain why her brother is acting strangely but said he did have a previous "dark episode" in his life. However, she said, he is not being treated for a psychological condition and is not taking medications. Investigators have told family members that Apple's behavior is likely due to drug use, she said. Williams, who is at home watching children and receiving updates from family members at the scene, said she found out after noticing several missed calls from relatives. |
