New generation Peugeot models open doors to conquest customers
The new fresh faced Peugeot 3008 and 5008 ranges introduced in the last year by Peugeot have done wonders for their UK sales. Demand for the 3008, part SUV part MPV with a hint of hatchback and with two wheel drive are 50 per cent ahead of target. Demand for the larger 5008 MPV is 40 per cent more than expected. The two ranges between them are 6,000 sales ahead of schedule. Overall this added demand has boosted Peugeot’s UK sales by 29.4 per cent for the first four months of this year
The RCZ goes on sale in the UK from 20 May at prices ranging from £20,450 to £24,550. There are three engine options 1.6-litre THP 156 petrol and 2.0-litre 163bhp turbodiesel now and a 1.6-litre 200bhp petrol unit arrives in August priced at £22,750 or £25,050 depending on specification choice.
