New Information: 2011 Pagani C9 Supercar

Argentine-born Horacio Pagani’s sports-car company—Pagani Automobili S.p.A., based near Modena, Italy—has been hand-building the exquisite mid-engine masterpiece known as the Zonda since early 2000. But now Pagani says the time has come to produce “a brand new car from concept.”

Quote from the article:
We believe the Zonda captured here by a spy photographer is serving as a test bed for the upcoming C9, which sources tell us is due to start production toward the end of this year. The fact it’s wearing Michigan plates attests to the fact that Pagani aims to certify the C9 for the U.S. market.

Reports say the C9 will use a new carbon-titanium chassis and will have almost 4000 new parts—as Pagani is a carbon-fiber specialist, you can expect many of those parts will be made of special composites.
