NHRA legend Bernstein inducted into Motorsports Hall of Fame of America class of 2009




NHRA legend Kenny Bernstein was one of seven icons from the world of motor sports inducted into the Motor sports Hall of Fame of America this evening during the organization’s annual induction ceremony at the Fillmore Theater in Detroit.

Bernstein, a six-time NH RA world champion who earned the title “King of Speed” in 1992 when he became the first NH RA driver to break the elusive 300 mph barrier.

In other NH RA news the the 28th annual Lucas Oil Nationals at Brained Minnesota start their 4 day run on Thursday August 13.The weather looks good for the first couple of days but it will be hot and there is a 30 to 40 percent chance of thunderstorms over the weekend.I will keep you posted.
