OCC Updates; Paul Jr. Building New Shop, Rick Petko Leaves and More

According to Paul Jr., he is in the process of building a new shop. Last we saw on T.V, Paul and his fiancé were debating what to do with the building they had, most likely using it for an office. This photo shows what appears to be a different building with storage racks, lift, trailer and more. Another image says “Paul Jr. Designs Motorcycles coming soon” so one can safely assume he is going to return to building bikes. His website at http://www.pauljrdesigns.com/ also promises that “the wait is almost over”.

A lot of speculation exists as to where he is going and whether this is all part of the scripted reality show that was “American Chopper” on TLC which was cancelled. If not for anything else, this should be interesting to watch. Paul Jr. had great ideas but he was portrayed on television as having a horrible work ethic. Word on the street is that Rick Petko may have also left and started his own company. His Facebook post simply states “Rick Petko says finally as of 3-1-10 my own bike shop is official... RPD & Co. ...time to hit some shows !!”. It’s a shame that they could not combine the talent using Rick and Vinnie. Both seem like very talented workhorses and could have made for an interesting new show.

Sadly, the motorcycle industry is hurting and having all these guys fracture into so many new companies does not seem promising. Of course, we have the root of all of this, Orange County Choppers and they seem to be plugging along. They do have a nice list of events on their website at http://www.orangecountychoppers.com/ for this summer including some great charity events. Kudos for that.

If not for anything else, it should be fun and interesting watching this all play out online or on television. Stay tuned to PedalToTheMetal for updates on all the drama as it unfolds.

I am just plain sick of the TV repeats. Sr vs Jr sick of Paul Sr. bad mouthing Jr. Every episode he has to take shot at Jr. Just goes to show you who the real villian here is.
Recently came to the mental realization that this is all a publicity stunt on the part of OCC and Discovery Channel !
I quit watching them today for good ! Sure many more share these same feelings.

It was sad to see you guys break up on tv.. I personally think if Paul jr worked as hard at occ it might not have been as bad.. It is good to see him succeed and his father should be proud to see jr finally realized what it takes to get the job done.. Make up both of you were right to some degree.. I really thought most of the fights were for ratings.. Sad to see it turn real time.. I know first hand hate to see you guys miss out the family time and the most important time of dads life the end...

you've got to be kidding me--vinnie is a weasel--cody has no idea what an interest senior took in him and how important that was to his career. vinnie? c'mon,sr. tries to do the best for him(roof on his house, his own bike) all things your employer does not have to do. Jr. is a slacker who thinks through creative license he can do what he wants when he wants. I would have kicked him out early before he had the ability to become experienced under the old man. typical, "give me some experience in your world and i'll leave later and screw you unless you give me everything i want" typical americans

I live in Palm Beach, FL and my neighbor has one of your "famous" choppers for sale, he's asking 30k for it. I told him good luck! I rode the thing and was clearly not impressed, it (may) be good for short 1/4 mile bar hops or display at bike rallys, but certainly not practical for daily driving. Also, there's problems with the wiring, several bolts had to be replaced and that god-awful seat is hideous. I offered him 8k and that was pushing it.

Paul, Jr. IS the man, and to you Sr. You're an old man, you'll take your dirt nap soon enough (3-4 years tops). Enjoy all your "good fortune" I'm sure whoever you will it to is going to have a great time selling it. But then again, you're so greedy and self-centered, you'll more than likely have all your things burned/crushed while inhaling your last breath. You are Sh*t my friend, your greed, obvious drug/steriod use has taken its toll, I pity you, but look forward to your demise. You're old and will certainly NEVER see the age of 66-67, it's just not in the cards for you.

What a piece of work! I can't believe ppl (Discovery among others) actually pay this retard money. He's the main reason I stopped viewing the show. He's a total retard, fully bloomed. I'm sure he's laughing all the way to the bank and kudos to him for that.

Nothing lasts forever and one day, he'll be an old homeless, overweight alcholic with nothing to show for his "break in life" except for old movie clips and cases of unsold t-shirts and that hideous canvas vomit he calls "art".

Jr. is the MAN and deserves his OWN show.
Sr. is a a$$ and hope he dies a lonely old man.

Paul jr wake up and be the real man your father showed you to be by him choosing to be sober and not staying high he got you into building bikes he built the best chopper industry ever . You think he's not proud of you he just wants to be part of what he taught you to do he is hurting so bad that I bet that if he could go back in time he would have not brought you into the trade if he new how it would have turned out . Just think about it you guys are paving the way for other father and sons to make it easy to call it quits on their relationships family first not the fame and tv make it right remember you will be a father too I hope good luck and go bless
