Alejandra White was dragged across a popular Florida beach when a rope line connecting her sail to a speedboat snapped.
Quote from the article:
Beachgoers watched in horror as White smashed into several umbrellas before slamming into a wooden volleyball pole. 'She looked like a bowling ball,” said eyewitness Toni Counts, as White tumbled helplessly across Clearwater Beach in Florida. 'If it wasn’t for the (wood) post,' Counts added, 'she probably would have gone into the traffic.' White, visiting the area from Georgia, remains in a critical condition hospital with multiple injuries. The Coast Guard and Florida Fish and Wildlife officers have launched an investigation to find out why the tow line connecting the parasail to the boat snapped. |
