Police say at 8:30 a.m. James M. Buccigrossi, 49, of Clifton Park, approached the ticket booth attendant of the airport's economy parking lot and told her he didn't have money to pay for his parking. Then it gets weird.

At the same time an airport fire truck was pulling into the lot to refuel. Buccigrossi jumped out of his vehicle and climbed into the truck, telling the firefighter inside that he was an air marshal and that he needed to get driving. The man then began to undress as he told the firefighter that there was a bomb in his car, which was blocking an exit lane at the ticket booth at the time. Deputies with the sheriff's office responded and secured Buccigrossi before setting up a perimeter around his car. Colonie EMS came and took him to Albany Medical Center for evaluation. The vehicle was deemed safe and removed from the scene. At this time charges are still pending.
