Rally America - Expanded North East Regional Championship for 2010 Season
Rally America, Inc., the premier sanctioning body for rally car racing in the United States, recently announced an expanded Northeast Regional Rally Championship at the New England Forest Rally awards banquet which took place in Newry, Maine.
To support the ever-increasing popularity of rallying in the Northeast at the regional level, officials with Rally America have joined forces with three local sports car clubs in New Hampshire and Vermont to develop a 12-event regional rally championship for the 2010 season.
Included in the expanded Rally America Northeast Regional Rally Championship will be seven tarmac hill climb events currently organized by the Sports Car Club of New Hampshire, the Sports Car Club of Vermont and the Killington Sports Car Club.
