Rautenbach's Finland shunt a 'must-see' WRC clip
Last week on wrc.com Conrad Rautenbach praised Citroen for building the car which kept him and co-driver Daniel Barritt safe from harm during their huge crash in Finland. Today you can watch the whole incident for yourself, from inside the cockpit.
Citroen Junior Team driver Rautenbach crashed on the second run through the Myhinpaa stage on the final day of Rally Finland. The former FIA African Rally Champion went off the road at more then 150kph, rolling the car twice. He later admitted it was the biggest accident of his career.
“It was a really big one,” said Rautenbach. “Like everybody says, you don’t have a small accident in Finland - and that’s certainly the case on that Myhinpaa stage, it’s one of the fastest we’ve ever been on.”
