Real women like men with small... cars? Green hybrid and electric cars can be driven by real men
If you have been following the news from the LA Auto Show 2009, you might have noticed a small trend. Literally, a small trend. As in small cars and green cars capturing the hearts and minds of the spectators and transportation journalists visiting the LA Auto Show -- something that shows men and women's concept of what's hot and what is NOT in automotive design is changing for the 21st century.
ELECTRIC AND HYBRID CARS THAT ARE SMALL AND EFFICIENT MAKE HEADLINE NEWS (FINALLY)
Last year, SUVs and crossovers caught the attention of the crowd and grabbed the most media attention when the West Coast's biggest new car convention came to town.
This year, the cars of the LA Auto Show getting the most attention in 2009 are the small, compact, and eco-friendly.
Why?
For two very important reasons.
1.Driving an eco-friendly car is not the same thing as eating quiche. If the cars are cool enough, fast enough, and save the driver money in fuel cost, they actually make the driver look cutting edge (and not like a sissy).
2.Women still dig the guy with the hottest and most unusual car. While a Toyota Prius might not win you a date unless you are a green celebrity, a red hot Tesla Roadster S probably will.
