Outlaws Motorcycle Club regional boss Mark "Ivan" Lester is turning in his vest - temporarily at least.
Quote from the article:
Lester promised in U.S. District Court on Thursday that he would step down from his post and away from the club if U.S. Magistrate Judge Clifford Shirley would allow him to remain free pending trial on a racketeering conspiracy indictment. Lester, who heads up Outlaws chapters in Kentucky and Tennessee, is accused along with Outlaws national president Jack "Milwaukee Jack" Rosga and 20 other regional bosses in a federal racketeering indictment handed down in Alexandria, Va. Because Lester was arrested in Knoxville, Shirley has been tasked with deciding whether he can be freed before trial. Assistant U.S. Attorney Kelly Ann Norris contends Lester is too dangerous to stay on the loose. Defense attorney Phil Lomonaco counters that Lester is a law-abiding citizen and the Outlaws nothing more than a club. |
