The array of Harley-Davidsons parked on Main Street on Thursday hailed from Vermont, New York, Michigan and other snow-weary states. Bike Week, which officially opens today, is in its 69th year running, and Daytona Beach businesses are gearing up for the 10-day bash. Though no one expects the numbers to approach peak attendance of a half-million motorcyclists just a few years ago, local businesspeople still expect a big crowd. "Historically, snowy winters mean strong Bike Weeks," said Roger Luznar, whose family runs Sopotnick's Cabbage Patch Bar, the Samsula tavern famous for its annual women's coleslaw-wrestling tournament.
