A lawyer has warned Toyota drivers they could face penalty points and even dangerous driving charges if they continue to drive a recalled car without rectifying the issue. Motoring solicitor Anton Balkitis claims that drivers aware that their accelerator may stick could face serious charges if they then cause an accident.

So make sure you get your car into your local Toyota dealer once you get the recall notice.
