Spa 24 Hours Attracts Four out of Five GT3 Champions

The Total 24 Hours of Spa is the blue riband event of the FIA GT calendar and the 61st running of the event has attracted the top sportscar drivers from across the globe, including teams and drivers from the FIA GT3 European Championship. The entry list includes nineteen drivers who have competed in the 2009 FIA GT3 European Championship and four of the five champions will compete.

Reigning GT3 Champion James Ruffier will be racing the #3 Salleslagh Racing Team Corvette Z06 in the GT1 class. Inaugural drivers champion Sean Edwards is racing the #60 Prospeed Competition Porsche 911 GT3 RS (997) in the GT2 class, while 2007 champions Henri Moser and Gilles Vannelet are racing the Phoenix Racing Audi R8 LMS and the PMB Motorsport Porsche 996 Bi-Turbo (GT2-R) respectively in the G2 class.
