Street in front of Jesse James West Coast Choppers renamed to West Coast Choppers Place

It was a big day for West Coast Choppers, well, in fact for the whole LBC. The city of Long Beach renamed the street in front of the shop West Coast Choppers Place. Traffic started to slow down at 10:30 as lanes of Anaheim Street were blocked off for the big event.

Quote from the article:
Right at 11am, the fancy balloon-bedazzled ceremony kicked off with city councilman Robert Garcia officiating. There was a crowd filled with invited guests, WCC peeps, city sign unveiler specialists, LA news crews, photogs, and the usual random interlopers that swelled out into the street to watch the proceedings. Jesse was graciously thanked for all of West Coast Choppers charitable contributions to the community, and for being an international brand that makes Long Beach proud.

After a brief speech where Jesse thanked the city for putting up with all of the shenanigans, traffic infractions, burn outs, and slightly questionable use of fireworks that have occurred at 718 West Anaheim over the past 14 years, he was given the honors of pulling the rip cord and unveiling the shiny blue West Coast Choppers Place sign. The crowd cheered, angels sang, the Virgin Mary appeared briefly in the clouds, all was right with the world, and then Jesse yelled at all of us to stop slacking and get back to work. Just another day at West Coast Choppers.
