Trains collide in northern Turkey, 1 dead
Two trains crashed Sunday in northwest Turkey, killing at least one and injuring three others, according to state media and other sources. The engineer on one of the trains was killed.
One train was heading for Istanbul from Eskisehir, and the other from Eskisehir to Istanbul, when they crashed in the city of Bilecik near the Vezirhan train station. Eskisehir is about 328 kilometers (204 miles) southeast of Istanbul. Bilecik is about 246 kilometers (153 miles) southeast of Istanbul.
