A tractor trailer driver in Florida has been arrested and charged with DUI after almost running vehicles off the road. The Florida Highway Patrol responded and saw the truck drifting across three lanes of traffic in Interstate 75 in Alachua County.

His blood alcohol samples registered .127 and .123. In Florida, anyone driving with a blood alcohol of .08 or higher is presumed to be legally drunk.

So, what’s the big deal? Well, his excuse for drinking was he had a few beers to stay awake. Don’t know about you, but alcohol makes me sleepy. And horny, but that’s for a different story.
